Before, during and after engineering projects it is often necessary to spatially control and scale your working environment.  Critical linear or angular dimensions can be measured by a number of means including Static GNSS or Total Station Observations, Laser Scanning, Photogrammetric Techniques, Heading Alignment, and acoustic networks for metrology and monitoring.  Specialised software such as SC4W is often used to determine local coordinate systems.

Land & Sea Survey Company were recently used by Bibby Offshore to help control the Topside Alignment of 36" Caisson Clamps on Tyra East in the Danish Sector.
