Land & Sea Survey Company, in collaboration with Royal Haskoning DHV successfully bid to conduct topographic surveys for the first phase of the Strategic Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme in SW UK for 26 beaches in North Cornwall between 2007 and 2011.  Further surveys were completed in 2013 and in collaboration with AG Surveys Ltd have succeeded in winning the contract to provide Topographic Surveys for areas TSW2, TSW3 and TSW4, approximately 80 beaches between Par in Cornwall and The Severn Bridge for the period 2016-2021.  Detailed Baseline Surveys are required for all beaches in 2017 followed by profile surveys to be conducted bi-annually until the end of phase.  Six beaches within these areas require full surveys on an annual basis and include Carlyon Bay, Praa Sands, Loe Bar, Crow Point and Saunton Sands.  Plymouth Coastal Observatory are the recipients of the processed data in their prescribed formats which include specifications authored by the Environment Agency.
